 These self-drive houseboats on the Knysna Lagoon come with bedding, a galley with a fridge and gas stove, and a shower and toilet. No boating experience is required and training is provided.
Each boat comes provided with a radio and CD player. Each has two fishing licences and a bait collection license and guest can cook their catch on a supplied portable barbecue.
The Knysna Lagoon is the estuary of Knysna River that starts in the Outeniqua Mountains. Thefamous Knysna Heads headland, guard its entrance from the Indian Ocean ensuring calm waters.
Lightleys Holiday’s shore facility is situated just 5km from Knysna village. It has spacious shower and blocks, and its restaurant, The Crow’s Nest, has a large wooden deck with a built-in barbeque and panoramic views over the lagoon.
