Arundel: Guide
Arundel is een stadje in het Engelse graafschap West Sussex, in het dal van de rivier de Arun.
De plaats heeft ongeveer 2500 inwoners en is een gewild toeristenoord.
Het meest in het oog lopend is het grote kasteel, dat oorspronkelijk dateert uit de 12e eeuw. In de 17e eeuw werd het voor een groot deel verwoest. In de 19e eeuw werd het gerestaureerd en waar nodig herbouwd. Het is nu een van de indrukwekkendste en meest complete kastelen van het land.
Het is nog altijd eigendom van de hertogen van Norfolk (Groot Brittannië)|Norfolk en is (tegen een fikse toegangsprijs) open voor het publiek.
